Expand VNA Measurement Capability Up to 500 GHz

Farran’s FEV Series Frequency Extension Heads are precision-engineered modules designed to extend the frequency range of your Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) into the millimeter-wave domain — enabling high-performance S-parameter measurements from 40 GHz to 500 GHz.

Seamlessly connecting to existing test ports, FEV modules leverage the VNA’s native capabilities to deliver full-port S-parameters for both forward and reverse measurements. Available in two configurations — 1-path/2-port and fully reversing 2-port — they provide flexibility based on your test setup requirements.

These extension heads are ideal for characterizing components such as amplifiers, filters, antennas, and waveguide devices at mmWave frequencies. Precision waveguide calibration kits are available as optional accessories to ensure accurate, repeatable measurements.
