Model WD-08 with optional bias network

Description

The FTL WD-Series of waveguide detectors offer high sensitivity over the frequency range 90-325 GHz in five standard waveguide bands. A whisker contacted GaAs Schottky barrier diode provides excellent sensitivity when operated with dc bias. Backshort tuning ensures highest sensitivity at the frequency of interest, or fixed tuned versions offer full frequency coverage. An integral constant current bias unit, driven from a single +15V supply, is available as an option.

Notes

  1. Voltage sensitivity is measured at 50 µA bias current with –20 dBm into a 1MΩ

    load, for backshort tuned models.

  2. Input power should not exceed 25 mW for models WD-08 - WD-06, 10 mW for models WD-05 - WD-03.
  3. All Models use whisker contacted GaAs diodes.
  4. Optional integrated AC/DC output amplifier.
  5. Other flanges on request.
