  • Accessories  ( 4 items )
  • Amplifiers  ( 2 items )
The FNLA series amplifiers are contructed using either discrete or MMIC pHEMPT devices to operate at frequency ranges from 18 to 100 GHz. The applications include communications, radar and security imaging. They can either be supplied as standard or custom made to your own configuration.Various RF interfaces can be provided including standard waveguide and coaxial connectors. Optional input and output isolators can be supplied to further improve the return loss. The amplifiers incorporate our latest low loss WG probe technology.

  • Circulators and Isolators  ( 5 items )

Farran offers a range of junction and Faraday rotation waveguide circulators and isolators covering frequencies from 8.2 GHz to 110 GHz. Junction circulators can be supplied for both narrowband and full band. These are complimented by a range of full band Faraday rotation isolators ideally suited to broadband communication systems and test equipment.

  • Frequency Converters  ( 4 items )

A range of broadband converter modules from 24.5 – 110 GHz have been developed based on the successful BMC-series of balanced mixers and temperature stabilised GN-series Gunn Oscillators.

These block downconverters allow existing microwave hardware such as receivers, test equipment, etc, to be extended into the mm-wave spectral region. Low noise figures are achieved over greater than 15GHz bandwidths and the temperature stabilized Gunn oscillators provide stabilities of the order ±35 MHz over an operating range 15-25ºC (eg. BDC-28 Model).

Higher stability local oscillators such as  PLO’s can also be provided. As standard, image rejection filtering is integral.
